Allison “Ally” Koczent doesn’t just live in Geneva. She bleeds it. Born and raised here, she has spent her life soaking up everything this corner of the Finger Lakes has to offer, and there are far too many favorite spots to list. Ask her about the area and you’ll get an answer that’s part local expert, part proud hometown cheerleader, and entirely genuine.
That love of place is what drives her work. As a licensed real estate salesperson with Empire Realty Group, Ally has spent more than 7 years helping buyers and sellers across the Finger Lakes between Rochester and Syracuse, with over 100 closed transactions along the way. She knows the market, but she also knows the neighborhoods, the quirks, and the little things that make a house feel like home. Ally is also honest about what she’s taking on with every client. For most people, buying or selling a home is the biggest and most challenging purchase of their lives. It’s emotional, it’s complicated, and it rarely goes exactly to plan. Ally loves a challenge, so she lives every day ready for the next one. She stays calm when things get complicated, communicates, and keeps the details moving so her clients can focus on what comes next.
When she’s not working, Ally is investing in the community she loves. She is involved in a handful of different boards and groups from the YMCA to Town Planning to Geneva's Hospital. Giving back isn’t a side project for her. It’s how she spends her free time, and she really wouldn’t have it any other way.
At home, Ally is a mom of 3, which means she’s well practiced at juggling schedules, solving problems on the fly, and keeping everyone moving in the right direction. Those skills come in handy at work, too.
